After living in Boston for more than two decades and working as a nurse, my husband and I decided to move our three children to the Middleton area to be close to family. I continued to work as a nurse in acute care, and even went back to school to get my Doctorate in Nursing Practice. But, as often happens, life had other plans. I acquired an aggressive form of leukemia in 2023, and was in intensive treatment for six months. Since then, my husband and I have had a shift of priorities.

When undergoing treatment I found a lot of joy in doing manicures for friends and family, as I was too ill to leave the house. I loved getting pictures back from them telling me how much joy they would get from their "done" nails throughout the week. Now that I am in remission and thinking about a new direction to go in, I couldn't help but think of the need for foot care for patients. It seems like a natural fit to combine my nursing knowledge and my love of doing nails and caring for people. I became a licensed nail tech in 2026, and I will be certified to do foot care as a nurse in April of 2026.

This business is about caring for people's foot and nail health, while providing spa manicure services. What distinguishes me is my nursing knowledge while providing a service. I use an autoclave for my tools and hospital-grade sanitation for the environment. I use dust extractors and air purifiers, for your and my safety, and use the safest and highest quality products on the market. I care greatly to prevent gel allergies while keeping your nails and feet looking their best. I have the education to back that up. I provide gel, semi-gel, and regular polish for your needs.

Last, I understand self-care. Sometimes you need comfort, or to do something for yourself. I am happy to provide services in your home, so if you are in hospice care, recovering from surgery, are immunocompromised, or simply cannot get out, I can come to you. I offer a silent service option, where you do not have to worry about the need to be "on" or chat away. If you select this add-on ($0) I will gladly understand your need for quiet and will not be offended at all if you want to put in ear buds and watch a movie. I will only ask questions as needed to complete the service.
